Yellow Beans Stew and Rolled Pork Steak with mustard pork leg steak. Watch the video recipe at the bottom of the page, bellow the written recipe
1. Clean the beans, which means to remove the ends together with the thread and keep them in water until use.
2. Beat the steak (pork loin) on both sides, add salt and pepper on both sides, and coat only one side with very little mustard. Wrap and secure the ends with a toothpick.
3. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and carrot in a bowl and add the bay leaf and, if desired, the hot pepper.
4. Add oil to a hot pan and fry the rolls for a total of 10 minutes on all sides. Take the meat out and put it in a separate container, close it with foil, and set it aside until use.
5. Saute vegetables in the same fat for 7-8 minutes on medium heat.
6. Add the drained beans and continue for another 5 minutes to reduce the liquid completely.
7. Put it back over the rolled meat and pour 3 dl of water over it and keep it covered for 15 minutes (occasionally stir and turn the meat).
8. After 15 minutes passed, repeat the watering procedure with the same amount of water and cover again for 15 minutes.
9. TIP: Meanwhile, make mashed potatoes.
10. Now the liquid is reduced almost entirely. In a separate bowl, add sweet pepper, flour, and 2 dl of lukewarm water. Stir, then pour into the dish and cook for another 10 minutes, until the desired density. Add salt or spice mixture if desired.
11. Thick beans and rolled steaks with mustard are done and ready to serve. I also made a lettuce salad.
