METHOD:

1. Add dry yeast, sugar, and salt to the smooth flour and mix these dry ingredients well.

2. In another bowl, combine warm water, yogurt, and oil that will represent the wet ingredients.

3. Knead the homemade pizza dough according to the instructions in the video recipe. It’s effortless: First, add half of the dry to the wet ingredients and mix well. Then add half of the remaining flour and mix/whisk for the next 2 minutes. Now add the remaining flour and knead soft pizza dough. Add just 20g of flour on top (just roll before rising).

4. Cover for 45 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, make a pizza sauce from mashed tomatoes, oil, sugar, salt, dried oregano and basil, pepper. Stir and refrigerate until use.

6. After 45 minutes, knead the pizza dough and form a ball of dough.

7. Place on a lightly floured surface and cover for only 10 minutes to make the dough easier to shape later.

8. In the video, I showed how to shape pizza dough in two ways, by hand, and with a rolling pin.

9. Transfer the shaped dough to baking paper and spread it in a circle to make a pizza shape.

10. Pierce everywhere (except the edges) with a fork and spread the previously prepared pizza sauce on it.

11. Arrange ham/salami / and the like over the sauce and add grated cheese and mozzarella cheese.

12. Arrange some olives if desired.

13. Turn the oven to maximum, and the homemade pizza has to rise only until the oven reaches the maximum temperature.

14. You don’t need a baking pan, just roll the homemade pizza over the grill and bake for about 7 minutes, i.e., until the desired color.

15. And homemade pizza is done and ready to serve. While it is still hot, coat the edges with a brush and a little oil and sprinkle with a bit more oregano.

  • 450 gram wheat flour
  • 4 gram dry yeast
  • 5 grams sugar
  • 5 grams salt
  • 100 ml lukewarm water
  • 150 ml any yogurt (greek… etc)
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • Pizza Sauce:
  • 150ml tomatoes passata
  • tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of dry oregano & basil
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of dry oregano & basil
  • 5 grams sugar
  • peppermix
  • Additionally Required:
  • 400 grams ham for pizza
  • 400 grams cheese
  • 200 grams mozzarella cheese
  • optional: sour olives
