1. Add salt, baking soda or baking powder, sweet pepper, pepper, and garlic powder to the semolina as desired, to your taste, and mix well.
2. After everything is well mixed, add cream cheese, parmesan, egg, oil, and knead a dough ball.
3 TIP: Don’t worry if the dough will crack, I showed that detail in the video and how the semolina scone dough looks like.
4. The dough doesn’t have to rest in the refrigerator and the like. Immediately without waiting, you can separate a small ball the size of, say, Raffaello.
5. Now just press the palms of both hands firmly as if you are going to shake hands. So you don’t have to shape the ball between your palms first and then press it. Just press the uneven piece you took from the dough, and the scone will form on its own.
6. Place on baking paper and then put the form over the rack from the oven. So you don’t need a tin/pan.
7. Spicy semolina scones are baked for 18 minutes at 200 C. I do not use a fan.
8. TIP: A little fat will be released in the baking, ending in the baking paper. Don’t worry about it, because it is this fat that will create delicious edges and crust.
