Omelette with bacon cheese vegetables

1. Heat a non-stick pan to a fairly high temperature. Add a little fat or oil.

2. TIP: Add a little oil or fat despite some saying that bacon will release enough fat. Follow the steps exactly as I prepared in the video.

3. Fry the bacon for a few minutes, then add fresh diced peppers and continue to fry/simmer for only half a minute.

4. Immediately add the onion sliced ​​into thin rings, and also continue for only half a minute.

5. Instantly add the peeled diced tomato and simmer for 4-5 minutes to almost entirely reduce the vegetables’ liquid.

6. Whisk the eggs with a little bit of pepper and salt (despite the bacon’s salinity, feel free to add a pinch of salt to the eggs as well).

7. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and fry for a few minutes

8. TIP: With the opposite (thinner) side of the cooker, pierce the omelet so that the eggs could reach the holes from above and thus can be heat-treated sooner.

9. In a separate bowl, mix the cream (or cream cheese), then the sour cream and the crushed or finely chopped garlic clove, to get one fine thick sauce.

10. Arrange only on one side of the omelet, and you can add a pinch of sweet pepper over the sauce if desired (although I did not do it in the video).

11. Over the sauce, add grated homemade boiled and smoked cheese and then pour into a plate in which you have previously cut lettuce into strips.

12. TIP: When you pour a Omelette with bacon cheese vegetables and sour cream into a plate, the pan must be hot, this way, it will be easier for the dish to “slip” off the pan, and you will be able to fold half of the omelet in the plate more easily.

This Omelette with bacon cheese vegetables and sour cream needs to be a little more baked because of the vegetables and everything else in it. You can’t expect it to have a standard uniformed yellow color. Just follow the video recipe, and you won’t go wrong. You will be really delighted with the taste.

  3. one sweet red bell pepper (or horn)

  6. 4 whole eggs
  7. salt and peppermix
  8. 100g Cream Cheese
  9. 100g sour cream

  11. smoked or pizza cheese
  12. Iceberg salad for decoration and meal
